Deian Jones, MD at Hodge Lifetime

Deian has been the Managing Director of Hodge Lifetime for the past six years. He is responsible for all aspects of the development of the business, with a particular focus on product design, customer outcomes and strategy. He has worked within the Julian Hodge group for the past 12 years, holding a variety of strategic, risk and project roles. He is a chartered accountant, and before joining Hodge spent eight years in KPMG’s financial services audit practice, specialising in the retail financial services and life assurance sectors.

Deian will be talking about Hodge Group and the growth and modernisation programme it has embarked on.

Hodge Group comprises Hodge Bank, Hodge Lifetime and Hodge Foundation. In banking terms, Hodge is a young institution having obtained authorised status under the Banking Act in 1987. However, that event belies the Group’s pedigree in that it was nurtured from the same stable that created Chartered Trust plc and Bank of Wales plc. All three institutions were founded by Sir Julian Hodge whose activities since the 1950s are widely acknowledged as having been the catalyst behind the development of the dynamic financial services sector that now exists in South Wales.
